From the first half of the 1980s, before the major debut, along with THE WILLARD and ecstatic, it became so popular that it was called “Indies Omisaya”.
The name “Indies Gosanke” is the reason why the word “Indies” is infiltrated in Japanese. The name of the band is Akabe, the first guitarist.
We established our own label (record company) “AA Record” and released sound sources.
In addition, they actively released sound sources for other bands that were active in the indie scene.
After gaining popularity in indies, made a major debut in the 1980s.
It was a pioneer of the “band boom” of those days. Disbanded in 1991, but resumed activities in the indie scene from 1995 (with the intention of the band).
As one of Japan's leading “punk rock bands”, Naoko Masuko (Engekiten), Akihiro Namba (Hi-STANDARD), Kenji Otsuki (muscle girl band, special effects), Kaori Mori Waka (ex.GO-BANG'S), ATSUSHI (NEW ROTE'KA), Yasunobu Kuwahara (Gagaga SP), Kazunobu Hamada (Ginkgo BOYZ), JOE ALCOHOL (ex.THE HONG KONG KNIFE), Sage (Guitar Wolf), Masayo Ishizaka (Lolita No. 18), Chiaki (Talent) , Yoshida Go (Pro Interviewer), and many other musicians.

BIOGRAPHY
Formed in Osaka in December 1981.
On April 28, 1985, in front of Shinjuku Studio Alta, the sonosheet “Saint came to the city”, which had their own work, was announced in advance for free distribution, and about 1300 fans gathered and were featured in national news. Also, on October 26, one month before the major debut, over 4,000 fans were mobilized at a live performance at Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall. On November 21, the same year, major debut from VAP.
During a live performance at Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall on April 19, 1987, while Nakano had been doing well, a fan stuck on the stage was killed by a shogi, causing an accident that killed three people. The band is responsible for taking responsibility (the program that was broadcast on RF Radio Japan at that time was discontinued). However, the activity resumes with the support of many fans.
In January 1988, moved from VAP to Toshiba EMI (now EMI Music Japan), a record company.
In May 1989, PON (Ba.) And NAOKI (Gu.) Announced withdrawal, and in August MZA Ariake held a withdrawal live for 3 days. BELLEY (Gu.) Joined the new member from the event three days later (Kanazawa). Later, WANG-TANG (Ba.) Joined from the October event (Kochi). In December, the “Assassination Live” was held at live houses near Tokyo (Shinjuku, Chiba, Yokohama).

After that, BELLEY was arrested and MARU (Dr.) withdrew, but HIROKI (Dr.) was added to the support members and a nationwide tour “TOUR PUNK IT UP” (October 8th to December 11th) was developed. Activities such as doing.
In 1991, after "POWER AND GLORY INTERNATIONAL TOUR '91" (April 10-July 23) after the release of the new album, the band broke up after appearing at the event (Akita) on August 20.
In 1995, CHARMY and PON collaborated and resumed activities for the first time in about three and a half years. On January 8th, they performed a live restart at the former Shinjuku Loft (Nishi-Shinjuku) (members are CHARMY, AKIO, PON, WANG-TANG) and at the same time revived their own label "Letsrock AA Record". In July of the same year, AKIO (Gu.) Withdrew from VANILLA's major debut, and BELLEY rejoined after an interval of about four years.
In 1997, WANG-TANG (Dr.) withdrew and KENJI joined (KENJI was enrolled until 2001 and succeeded by YOSSY).
In 1998, BELLEY (Gu.) Left the group and joined THE RYDERS. KASUGA, who was active in THE RYDERS, joined the trade.
October 30, 2004 Live in Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall for the first time in 17 years. Members from the 1987 accident (NAOKI, MARU) also participated as guests.
In 2006, YOSSY (Dr.) left. KYOYA, who was also active as a drummer of THE WILLARD in the 1980s, participated as a support member and then officially joined.
September 24, 2007 Hibiya Outdoor Music Hall's live “Raffin Festival” was attended by members (NAOKI, MARU, BELLEY, WANG-TANG) who were enrolled during the major era. In the second part, the members of SIXTEEN period (CHARMY, BELLEY, WANG-TANG, MARU) will be performing for the first time in about 17 years. The last number “GET THE GLORY” on this day was played by 4 members (CHARMY, KASUGA, PON, KYOYA) at the time (available on the official website).
In April 2008, KASUGA (Gu.) Left the group. The following May, BELLEY, who had been active for free after leaving THE RYDERS, returned for the first time in about 10 years.
In January 2011, the limited edition “LONDON SLIM Raffine Model” was released in collaboration with EDWIN. In 2012, the “DENIM JACKET Raffin Model” was released.
In April 2011, in response to the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake and the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, a video shot of Hibiya Noon on September 24, 2007 was released as a charity DVD. Donated the entire sales amount as a donation.
On December 2, 2011, WOWOW Prime-Non-Fiction W broadcasts its first official documentary film “How to Raffin Nose”, which celebrates its 30th anniversary (re-broadcast several times later) (available on the official website).
In May 2013, KYOYA (Dr.) withdrew after the national tour.
