Born 1973 in Nice, southern France. He began studying Japanese in high school, and after graduating from high school, majored in Japanese language and modern Japanese literature at the French National Institute of Oriental and Cultural Studies (Inarco) and earned a master's degree in 1997. He received a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education during his university years, and studied at Shinshu University's Faculty of Humanities in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture for one year (1995-1996). After graduating from Inarco, in September 1997 he worked as a French teacher (beginner to advanced) at the official French government agency, "Kyushu Jichibu Gakuen" (Fukuoka). The following year, he started a French music program on a local radio station in the wake of the French Year in Japan, and began working as a DJ and MC at an event at a club in Fukuoka. Moved to Tokyo in 2001 and belongs to the French embassy in France, Institut Francesse.
He has appeared on various radios and TVs in Tokyo, and has hosted events, produced CDs, and has been a producer. In 2010, he learned Rakugo in earnest following the encounter with a rakugo artist in Osaka, Someta Hayashiya. Participated in “Rakugo International Convention in Chiba” held in 2011 and won third place. He is also active in promoting Rakugo overseas, coordinating and interpreting French oral performances of Sanyu-tei Ryuraku who plays rakugo in foreign languages. He is currently speaking at nursing homes, welfare centers, and French restaurants. From July 5 to 27, 2014, he performed rakugo for 23 consecutive days at the world's largest drama festival, Avignon Festival.
Started translating manga in 2013. She is in charge of French translation of comics on the theme of rakugo, "Iraku Son", "Detective Conan" (Vol.75-), and "Nonnonbiyori", which was animated in October 2013.
From April to June 2015, a special course “Franchi & RAKUGO” will be held at Meiji University (Nakano Campus).
