You can't talk about Brittany's new music scene without Plantech.
They have become artists representing "Fest Noz" * in the last 12 years.
The melodies and rhythms that fuse acoustic, electric, and electronic, and the influence that their music has had is immeasurable. The three people at the live show create a unique worldview that captivates people and dances in and out of the sound.
After two years of European tour, released the latest album “Kontakt”.
With this 13 award-winning album, their music crosses the border from Brittany.
Various collaborations were realized during the tour. The album also performed with Winston McAnuff & Fixi, Laurita Peleniute, Lithuanian female singer and female chorus. A second collaboration with recording engineer Roli Mosimann who worked on Bjork and Faith has been decided.
Plantec, a spearhead, dancing.Unbridled wild and powerful.Pioneers of the new wave of Breton music over the past ten years, Plantec have led the way by imposing their own iconoclastic vision on the fest noz scene whilst all the time evolving and pushing forward Their own musical horizons.After two years of touring, the trio have returned to the studio to record a new album, an album at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic sound, a sound which invokes a world without boundaries.Inevitably the experience of touring Europe in recent years has resulted in many meetings with other artists and the idea of collaborating with some of these artists soon became self evident.It is thus in the spirit of this collaboration that the Kontakt album contains contributions from invited artists, Winston McAnuff & Fixi, Laurite Peleniute (a singer from Lithuania) as well as a female choir.
The group also decided to collaborate for a second time with sound engineer, Roli Mossiman (Bjork, Faith no more….). The new album entitled 'Kontakt', contains 13 tracks and is symbolic of a Brittany without frontiers Since 2016 the band includes The stage is transformed in a virtual new world.After Europe and Japan in 2016 Plantec played in Togo, Belgium & Bulgaria.In 2018 Plantec release a CD / DVD blending, Fest-noz (traditional night parties), dance and video projection, both during the biggest Celtic festival in the world.
